Today, instead of a singular topic or idea…
I want to write about music I’ve been making and some cool things in the pipeline.
Call it a quick life update.
Let’s get into it.
I am now 20 issues into this newsletter.
Since most folks who start a newsletter hardly make it past the initial few editions…
I’m giving myself a little pat on the back here.
Although I’m occasionally stressing till the last minute in order to make my Thursday 10am cutoff…
(yea I know…I missed it today)
I’m grateful for the deadline.
It forces me to show up and write.
And writing is clarity of thought.
And I believe deeply thinking and writing about a topic is one of the highest leveraged things you can do.
I hope you like reading them as much as I like writing them.

That changes this Friday July 12th 🔥
My first official remix since 2019 (holy sh*t!) is out tomorrow.
Kito and Chrome Sparks formed a new duo called IS U IS U and dropped a banger called “All I Need” on Mad Decent a few weeks back.
I heard the snippet and immediately DM’d Kito who I’ve known for a long time…
“Kito! I need to remix this. Send me the stems NOW!”
Ok…
So I said it a lot nicer, but that’s what I meant.
She kindly said “ok” and I got to work.
Luckily, she loved the remix and pushed to make it official…
So here we are.

Should be on all streaming platforms this weekend.
